Kenneth Cole New York Men’s Chronograph Watch

I found myself in JFK on a way to a conference without my watch. This was the nicest thing I saw at the airport so I bought it even though I wasn’t sure how I felt about it. I’ve since been blown away by the number of complements I get when I wear this watch and from people I don’t expect if from. It soon became my favorite watch. I own more expensive watches but I don’t recall getting complements on them.

The main issue I have is with the non-standard strap. This, like every other leather strap I’ve ever had, eventually falls apart. A local watch repair specialist advised that he not replace the strap and that I send it back to Kenneth Cole. I have no clue where to send the watch and Kenneth Cole’s website was useless for this. It’s almost easier to buy a new watch. That said, I’ll probably call the number on the website and order two straps.

When I reset the stopwatch the second hand doesn’t go back to 12:00 so I stop it when it makes it up there. Not a big deal. If I wanted a stopwatch I would have bought a Casio. I wanted something I could wear for public speaking and sales calls and this fit the bill. I hope my next watch will get as many complements. Either way it will have a standard strap.
